John Willems – Otago Motorcycle Club and Brass Monkey

We’ve been working with Brandwell Moller for well over 40 years, with the final year for Brass Monkey Rally in 2021. Over that time, they’ve treated us well and always looked after us. They’ve made us all sorts of badges, often with the monkey emblem and in different colourways. It’s been amazing to see the range of designs and intricate options that they’ve come up with over the years on such a small badge. They’ve always come up trumps. They go above and beyond to deliver sometimes, whether it’s 10 badges or over 4,000. In early 2020 we were gearing up for the rally, but with COVID, we had to make the hard decision and postpone, they said no worries, kept everything and here’s 2021 and we’re up and running again.

The Otago Motorcycle Club is one of New Zealand’s oldest running clubs. We’ve had various prizes, plaques, cups, trophies and engraving requirements ever since we’ve existed – with many varied and interesting designs from Brandwell Moller. Including hard-luck prizes like the Concours de d'ung heap and other similar prizes such as furthest travelled, oldest rider and bike combination, etc. They’re just great at listening and nothing has been a problem, they just get it done.
